We, Beaver and Kathy Brooks, currently direct Much Ministries Inc., 2nd Story Goods and will direct Market Place Gonaives. I have a BBA degree in Risk Management from University of Georgia and a Masters degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas. Kathy graduated from University of Texas with a degree in Communication. She envisioned and now directs 2nd Story Goods (www.2ndstorygoods.com). Kathy and I pastored in British Columbia, Canada from 1986- 1996, when God called us to retire from that profession and return to the states. We moved to St. Simons Island and began living out the next adventure of our lives. In 2000 we relocated 20 miles west to the rural community of Waynesville, Ga. In 2002 we made our first visit to Haiti. 2004 we began a small business that eventually became the 10,000 sq. ft facility known as The Marketplace in Waynesville, Georgia. The vision for the Marketplace was to be a catalyst for economic, spiritual and cultural change in the community. Much Ministries Inc. was formed as a 501c3 in 2007 as potential donors came forward and wanted to invest in these local and international initiatives. Since then over a million and half dollars has passed through Much Ministries. These funds have been planted in the US and Haiti in a variety of measurable ways. * See appendix: Impact / track record
